Six years out from the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, ARM Architecture, Arkhefield and NH Architecture are announced as the principal architects for the National Aquatic Centre (NAC). Our design was revealed today by Queensland’s Premier David Crisafulli and Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning, Jarrod Bleijie.

The new Museum of Islamic Art Australia will be an “intercultural space” where every visitor, regardless of faith or background, will be able to see themselves reflected in Australia’s shared story. With artists and local communities at the centre of the vision, ARM’s design resonated deeply with the audience of more than 400 guests when it was revealed by director Mark Raggatt and principal Joshua Morrin at the inaugural MIAA gala dinner.

MELBOURNE, Australia—After 27 years atop a city car park, national architecture, interiors and urban design firm ARM Architecture has moved its Melbourne cool to a swish and contemporary studio in a central city tower.

The opening of ARM’s new Adelaide studio at 241 Pirie Street marked a convergence of milestones: a new home in the heart of the city, 10 years on the ground in Adelaide, 40 years of ARM nationally, and 25 years since our first South Australian project, the Marion Cultural Centre, was completed.

BEST is not just a sports facility; it’s a symbol of cultural diversity, knowledge, and technological innovation. The centrepiece of the Blacktown International Sports Park, BEST is improving the performance of all athletes, and health outcomes for the Western Sydney community through health and physical literacy education.

Architecture as self-determination. The Yorta Yorta community assembled the partners, secured the funding, and led every stage of design and delivery. ARM's role was to facilitate that leadership into a world-class built outcome and not get in the way of what the community would determine for itself.
