While Western Australia runs deepest in him, Andrew sets design direction for projects across the practice nationally. It’s an inclusive process, often starting as a conversation about ideas of interest, and always supported by a lot of research into techniques and constructability.

Instrumental for turning concepts into designs that survive planning, budget and construction, Andrew’s involvement is central to many of ARM’s biggest and most impactful projects. He’s a technology vanguard, using whatever digital methods test an idea fastest in the pursuit of original outcomes that stack up and are true to their place.

University teaching, architectural reviews and service on design juries keep Andrew engaged with new ideas and new architects.
