Andrea is ARM’s most senior interior designer on cultural, educational, public and commercial buildings, focusing on materials and how they perform. Architecturally trained, her work is more than decorative; interior elements integrate with architecture to tell a story – there’s always a narrative that unifies the spaces and materials. Early career years as a fine artist bring a rich cultural grounding to Andrea’s practice which is based on thorough research and a vast knowledge of materials.
Workshopping selections with clients is an immersive experience – holding and feeling them, understanding their tactility. She loves every aspect of colour – bold, subtle, nuanced – for the way colour carries meaning. Often, atypical selections are at work in the incredible interiors she creates.
